Hello,

I have just joined the forum and am looking to see if any of you have experienced the same problem that I have.I bought my Cx3 Sport Nav new in Sept last year, I only have covered around 3400 miles, mostly urban and no motorways. When I last washed my car I found 8 chip marks across the bonnet, the colour is Soul Red and was paint protected from new.I have contacted the dealer who has referred me to Mazda UK. I have not contacted them yet as I want to find out if anyone else has had the same experience.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Hello,

I'm a bit of a 'lurker' on here and get loads of useful hints and tips, so hoping somebody may have experience of towing with a Mazda CX-5? I've got one to try for a few days but no towbar so can't sneakily hitch trailer up and try! It ticks all the right boxes so I could have it as my Company car and get rid of old Shogun (think its on its last legs). Only tow 1 horse, 16.1 TBX so weight shouldn't be an issue ...towing capacity of 2000kg and have a 511. However, it's the 2WD version, I only tow on roads and to venues with car parks so don't need 'off road' and probably only 6-10 times a year, but would be good to hear from anybody who has any experience?

Please help

Hello,

I have received few days ago the letter stating that the driver seat and the back supporting struts needs to be checked. In July 2017 I was driving back to Portsmouth from Manchester. After 30 minutes of driving, I had a massive scary problem.Stopped in some red light. When the green light appeared, started to move the car, and the seat broke. I ended in a position where I was looking at the roof of the car, could not hold the seat down, and I was with 2 children in the back, my wife and my dog. The whole scene ended me almost crashing against the car in front. Luckily enough, nobody was injured, or crash or anything.Called green flag. Green flag guy said the whole thing was broken and cracked underneath. Therefore he could not repair it there. So he put some plastic cable ties to hold the seat down (several of them) and took me to the next garage available.
The quick solution was to weld the seat so I could drive back south. As someone has already tried to repair this car (not really repair but to have a fast fix) do my car still enters in this security recall from mazda or because someone has already done something they will not help?Do I have any rights for this at all or I should have contacted mazda when it happened?

Please help

Hello Guys,

A few days after flashing your newest tune available for my 2015 Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel 150HP, when I started the engine in the morning I received a message (on my board computer) saying that my key is not detected, although the engine started and ran normally. After stopping and restarting the engine the message was gone.
The next day I got another message on the main screen (multimedia screen) saying to check surroundings - the same message that I receive every time I start the engine, but that always disappears in a few seconds after starting the car. This time there was no way of getting rid of this message - I stopped and started the engine a few times, but nothing. The main screen / multimedia screen remained blocked on this message.

Since this is the second warning / error code that I receive in just a few days after installing 1.08 tune, please tell me if you suspect that this strange behavior might be related to your software and what can I do to verify the cause of these errors (maybe an OBD diagnose or something like that).

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Hey everyone,

How soon can we expect a firmware flash available for the 2016 Mazda CX-5?Best Buy installed my Kenwood DNX573S and the Maestro SW. But, there is no firmware available from idatalink for my vehicle. So, they couldn't connect the steering wheel controls. Would be nice to have my steering wheel controls working. The steering wheel looks the same as the 2015 CX-5. Will that work for my 2016?

Please help

Hey everyone,

So I going to soon find myself looking to buy a new car. In the past I've owned Saabs, however now that I am about to graduate from college and will have crazy loans to start paying off, I want something a bit (!!) less expensive to maintain.I've been looking at both the 2006 Honda Civic (the newest design) and the 2006 Mazda 3. I can't be too picky since I'm looking at used vehicles, but I'm looking at the 4 door models. Do you guys have any tips or recommendations? How are the 2 vehicles when it comes to repair costs? Are both fairly reliable cars? Is the Civic too much of an "older" person car - meaning is the Mazda 3 a better fit for someone out of college? I'm looking forward to your thoughts and advice.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
