In the very beginning I'd like to say Hi to you all, on behalf of ]]>Mazda MX-5 Klub Polska members.]]>

I'm sorry for writing in English - I still do remember some Russian back from old days of primary school, however it enables me to only read Russian and understand some of the context. And I don't believe in google translate in proper Polish>Russian translation. I'm using it now to go through your forum, but in Russian>English setup.

First, I'd like to write few words about the club itself. This year we are going to celebrate 10th anniversary of its existence.

Last big celebration was held in 2009 - 20th Anniversary of the first Eunos NA model released.

As you can see on some movies on youtube, there was quite a lot of us.

]]>Long version ]]>

]]>Shorter one]]>

A little over 200 Miatas from all around of Poland - to be more precise. We drove through Warsaw with police escort, to the street racing event that we took part in. No other car/make club in Poland has achieved such police escort - we sure felt like Obamas wink.gif

Generally speaking, each year we have at least couple of MX-5 specific track day events (however there are other cars involved, usually driven by people previously owning Miatas, or our friends)]]> like this one]]> and couple of events we call Drifts.

Despite the fact that some drifting usually occurs, they're not your usual drifting events. This is the way we call touring events. ]]>Like this one.]]>

They last from 1-2 days, up to 15 and more.

And this is why I'm writing to you.

There is a plan to do "Transcontinental Drift" this year.

Plans for first couple of days are as follow:

]]>Day 1 Poland>Ukraine]]>

]]>Day 2 Ukraine>Moldova>Ukraine (1 day off in Odessa)]]>

]]>Day 4 Ukraine>Romania>Bulgaria]]>

]]>Here you have whole topic translated to English.]]> It is, well… Not that good translation, but… You kind of get the idea.

And here is my question to you, fellow Mazda owners.

We are looking for information about quality of roads on the above mentioned sections of Transcontinental Drift. So far we've been unlucky in determining driving conditions. We know that main routes, such as Lviv>Kiev, or Kiev>Odessa are very good, however, our Miatas prefer some turns over straight highways smile.gif but not at the price of broken suspension…

Can you help us in planning the route through Ukraine and share your thoughts on road conditions?

What do you think about the first draft of the route?

Any help would be appreciated. Also, if any of you would like to meet us in real life, we would be more than happy smile.gif There will be around 10 cars all together.

BTW. We have English thread on our forum, if you feel like stopping by and asking some questions, especially MX-5 specific - please do so. ]]>http://www.mx-5.pl/viewforum.php?f=39]]>

Looking forward to hearing from you, and maybe see you one day smile.gif

Adam
